Discover for Windows is a great application for iPhone users. Discover for Windows is the client for a great service. It is a great part of what makes Discover a great app. The iPhone cannot send and receive files from a computer over a wireless network; by default. Discover fixes that problem with ease. They developed an iPhone app that can send and receive files from a computer. Whenever there is a network, you can share files. The computer will have to access the iPhone using many different options, one of them being Discover for Windows. The application is simply a sort of File browser that shows the files and directories on both your computer and the mobile device. You can access all your files and even copy them, paste them, etc. I like that Discover will automatically tell you what iPhones are nearby, so that you can connect to them. There aren't many applications that can do this, and let alone applications that do this for free, so I'd recommend every iPhone user to have this, even if it is just in case. The bad thing about the application is that it is a glorified web browser, which connects to a web server that the iPhone creates. That is not a stable solution in my experience. But it seems to work so far. |
